The Community and Access point on Windsor Street, Toxteth is a wheelchair accessible facility for providing a information, advice and support on a range of Education, Lifelong Learning, Personal and Community Development (PCDL) Training.

This premises offers hotdesk-working facilities for new or emerging voluntary, community and faith sector groups looking for a place to do word processing, develop strategic and develop business plans to enable them become more successful and effective in delivering services to their communities.

Members of the public are welcome to pop in for a chat and a cup of tea.

This Project aims to ensure that Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Voluntary Community and Faith (VCF) Sector on Merseyside has access to and benefits from the best infrastructure services.

This will be achieved by the offer of dedicated support to frontline organisations  that meets needs, addresses gaps and links them with support services that leaves a sustainable legacy for the sector by 2014.

Legacy is funded by the Big Lottery and is being delivered as is being delivered in partnership with Refugee Action on Merseyside and Council for Ethnic Minorities Voluntary Organisations, CEMVO.

Equipped with a fully serviced Computer suite and seminar space this centre is used for a number of training initiatives of Chara Trust, including lifelong learning and community development training.

There are also additional spaces in the premises for individuals and groups to organise activities and functions. There is a disabled parking available and access via the rear.
