“Beautiful by Design”

Chara Trust has recently opened our Community Access Point on Windsor Street. This is a wheelchair accessible facility for information on Education, Training, Volunteering, Community or Personal Development. All members of the public are welcome to pop in for a chat and a cup of tea.

Chara launches a unique skills training course leading to employment in the Hair, Beauty and Salon Services industry in Liverpool.

Developed in partnership with Hugh Baird College School of Hairdressing and Beauty, `Beautiful by Design’ will draw participants from some of our City’s most disadvantaged communities, offering training based in the community and in a purpose-built state-of-the-art modern salon on Granby Street, Liverpool 8. This project is supported by Liverpool’s Adult Learning Service.

Registrations of expressions of interest are currently being held until 21st March at Chara Trust’s Community Access Point.

Equipped with a fully serviced ICT suite and seminar space this centre is used for a number of training initiatives of Chara Trust and is available to share with community groups and companies. We can accommodate up to 40 delegates at any one time.
